Baby announcements are all about the numbers! From “When’s your due date?” to “How far along?” and of course the birth statistics – length, weight, time of birth, place of birth. After that, it’s onto: “How many hours did the baby sleep?” and “How many poops today?”. Lest we forget to mention – the number of cuddles and gas-induced smiles!
A newborn’s arrival is a momentous occasion, and finding the perfect gift to capture this new beginning can be tricky. Our birth announcement sign captures all of those very special details of birth and perfectly records the vital statistics of a new life.
A thoughtful addition to any nursery, our personalized engraved baby birth board is handmade from beautiful cherry wood. It comes ready to hang with a mounting hole on the back. All you need is a screw.
You may choose from different fonts for your baby’s first name. The remainder of the board has specific fonts for each line item to ensure all the information fits. It’s easy to fill out and customize!
Finally, you get to choose a design for the center of the wooden nursery sign. The list includes a: butterfly, bear, giraffe, elephant, owl, or plane. You may also choose to only have the statistics to coordinate with your nursery decor.

This is a common question! For a simple engraving, we recommend one of four popular choices. (1) large initial or monogram (2) last name (3) wedding date or (4) longitude and latitude coordinates of a special place.
For a traditional monogram, with a larger center initial, follow the rules noted below.
