When shopping for an engraved gift
What should I engrave on the personalized gift?
This is a common question! For a simple engraving, we recommend one of four popular choices. (1) large initial or monogram (2) last name (3) wedding date or (4) longitude and latitude coordinates of a special place.
What is the correct layout for a monogram
For a traditional monogram, with a larger center initial, follow the rules noted below.
- Individual’s monogram = first, last, middle (for example, Carrie Pearl Smith = cSp)
- Couple’s monogram = wife’s name, last name, husband’s name (for example, Caroline and Scott Miller = cMs)
