Muddling is a method of lightly mashing herbs, fruit, and spices for cocktails. Similar to a pestle, a wooden cocktail muddler releases the essence from fresh ingredients, giving a delicious depth to your drinks. Want to try muddling? Here are 4 tips from Master Class on how to muddle ingredients for a cocktail.

A lighthouse wooden muddler is the perfect addition to a coastal home bar. If your favorite mixologist also loves the ocean, this gift will be a winner. It also pairs great with a limited edition lighthouse Ornament, Tap Handle, and Rolling Pin. The wooden muddler is great for everyone on your list!

While our carpenters turn the wood by hand and are extremely efficient, each wooden cocktail muddler is uniquely beautiful. Like a snowflake, no two pieces, and no two Minot’s Light wooden muddlers are exactly alike which adds to the charm.

Our classic food-grade safe white mineral oil is used to finish each piece, ensuring safety and rich grain beauty.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a common question! For a simple engraving, we recommend one of four popular choices. (1) large initial or monogram (2) last name (3) wedding date or (4) longitude and latitude coordinates of a special place.

For a traditional monogram, with a larger center initial, follow the rules noted below.

  • Individual’s monogram = first, last, middle (for example, Carrie Pearl Smith = cSp)
  • Couple’s monogram = wife’s name, last name, husband’s name (for example, Caroline and Scott Miller = cMs)
