Sometimes bigger is better! In this case, it is, so long as you have a permanent home on your countertop for The BAB (or Big A$$ Board), our largest board to date.
We built this thicker board to mimic the idea of a butcher block. If you’re constantly in the kitchen, cutting and cooking, and sick of your arms being tired, this board was made for you. A raised cutting surface is very helpful when it comes to prepping for a meal.
With such a large surface area, overcrowding on this piece of real estate will never be an issue. We used a handsome assortment of our favorite hardwoods and exotic woods to give this board a one-of-a-kind feel.
Each BAB is built using a unique assortment of our favorite exotics and hardwoods. You never know what you’re going to get, but in any case, The BAB will stand out as the perfect raised cutting board surface for your kitchen.
We recommend adding a juice groove and handles to your BAB. These optional add-ons will help you be more versatile in the kitchen. You can also add an engraving to either face of the BAB to make it personal.

This is a common question! For a simple engraving, we recommend one of four popular choices. (1) large initial or monogram (2) last name (3) wedding date or (4) longitude and latitude coordinates of a special place.
For a traditional monogram, with a larger center initial, follow the rules noted below.

Our wood charcuterie boards are treating with mineral oil. Mineral oil is 100% food safe and great for conditioning wood. You can also use coconut oil as an alternative to mineral oil. General care instructions are included with your order. We also have detailed instructions for wood cutting board and a video on our website.
Detailed board care instructions are listed on our website, along with a YouTube video for reference. But generally, our recommendations are: (1) wash both sides of the board with soap/water (2) stand the board on its edge overnight to dry, and (3) condition all sides with mineral oil. Easy as 1-2-3!
