Description

We designed this multicolored BBQ-style Cutting Board in collaboration with the folks at River Rock Farm, our favorite all-natural beef farm in Brimfield, MA. If you love the look of the BAB but want a lighter load, this might be your new favorite cutting board.

This colorful edge-grain cutting board is both a workhorse and a work of art. At nearly 2 inches thick, it showcases a hand-selected assortment of our favorite hardwoods. With the added flare from the colorful pattern, the RRFB isn’t your average BBQ cutting board.

One side is smooth for everyday chopping while the flip side features our exclusive brisket pattern – a unique combination of irregular ridges symbolizing a piece of rough-sawn wood. This groove pattern allows sliced meat to rest comfortably in its own savory and delicious juices.

The rainbow-like cutting board always features our exclusive brisket pattern and comes in small, medium, and large sizes. Additionally, there are options for a juice groove on the smooth side of the board and engraved handles on the sides for easier handling around the kitchen and grill.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a common question! For a simple engraving, we recommend one of four popular choices. (1) large initial or monogram (2) last name (3) wedding date or (4) longitude and latitude coordinates of a special place.

For a traditional monogram, with a larger center initial, follow the rules noted below.

  • Individual’s monogram = first, last, middle (for example, Carrie Pearl Smith = cSp)
  • Couple’s monogram = wife’s name, last name, husband’s name (for example, Caroline and Scott Miller = cMs)

Our wood charcuterie boards are treating with mineral oil. Mineral oil is 100% food safe and great for conditioning wood. You can also use coconut oil as an alternative to mineral oil.  General care instructions are included with your order. We also have detailed instructions for wood cutting board and a video on our website.

Detailed board care instructions are listed on our website, along with a YouTube video for reference. But generally, our recommendations are: (1) wash both sides of the board with soap/water (2) stand the board on its edge overnight to dry, and (3) condition all sides with mineral oil.
