This is a common question! For a simple engraving, we recommend one of four popular choices. (1) large initial or monogram (2) last name (3) wedding date or (4) longitude and latitude coordinates of a special place.
For a traditional monogram, with a larger center initial, follow the rules noted below.

We like using the gps converter on gps-coordinates.net. Simply enter a physical address and click “Get GPS Coordinates”. You can choose between two different layout options: DD (decimal degrees) or DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds).

Some of our home goods products’ are treated with mineral oil. Mineral oil is 100% food safe and great for conditioning wood. You can also use coconut oil as an alternative to mineral oil. General care instructions are given with your product/gift. You can also find wood cutting board care instructions and a video on our website.
If a polyurethane-finished product is dirty, a great option is to wipe it with a damp cloth, using soap and water. Avoid standard cleaning solutions, as most contain components that can hurt the finish over time.
Detailed board care instructions are listed on our website, along with a YouTube video for reference. Home Goods products’ with a mineral oil finish usually do not need care as often as our cutting boards or charcuterie boards. But generally, our recommendations are: (1) wash both sides of the board with soap/water (2) stand the board on its edge overnight to dry, and (3) condition all sides with mineral oil. Easy as 1-2-3!
